Stopping Thirsty When You "See" The Plum

     Once upon a time, a marshal lead his army to fight an enemy during a war.

     One day, the marshal’s army followed the way and walked long time. Under the powerful sun, soldiers became very thirsty and tired; some soldiers even fell down in a fainted. They did not have any water in the whole troops. Of course, their morale and speed were getting lower and lower. Therefore, the marshal became worried about it and asked the guide, “Is there any source of water near here?”
      “There is a source of water in that mountain”, the guide said as he pointed to the mountain.
      That mountain is so far from here, we would have to walk more than 5 hours, the marshal thought. He knew walking to the source of water would be impossible, because they needed time to walk forward and arrive at the battlefield.
        Although the marshal was frustrated, he came up with idea. What was the idea? When the marshal was worried about the speed of his army, he found a forest which was not far from his army. He rode the horse to the front of troops and said: “Guys, I heard about there are many plum trees in front of us, the plum is big and sweet; it also has much water. Come on, let’s cross this mountain and eat plums!” Soldiers cheered up and ran fast to across the mountain when they heard about the plums from their marshal. At last, they got to the destination on time.
